Experience the Local Festivities in Calella
The coastal city of Maresme kicks off the Festivities of Minerva
September is one of the most important months of the year for the people of Calella. In just a few days, the city’s festivities will begin, and soon the streets will be filled with fun and excitement. From September 19 to 23, the Calella City Council has organized a range of activities, parades, and concerts so that everyone can enjoy the Local Festivities and their traditions and culture. Local Festivities in Calella: Activities

Local Festivities in Calella: Concerts
One of the most important traditions during Catalonia’s Local Festivities is the music concerts. In Calella, a marquee is set up annually near Playa de las Barcas (Las Barcas Beach), where for three or four days you can enjoy local music and regional artists for free. Local Festivities in Calella: The Fair
Two of the main attractions in Calella during the festivities are the street market and the amusement fair. At the street market, you can enjoy music, Catalan gastronomy, and local activities. On the other hand, at the amusement fair, there are various activities for the youngest to enjoy a unique experience in Calella: shooting booths, arcade games, rides, and more.
