Lighthouse of Calella
Located at the cliff of the mountain, 50 meters up, the lighthouse was built late nineteenth century and has always been and will be a point of reference for sailors and for visitors. Earlier in the same place there was a watchtower guarding and protecting the coast from pirates and their attacks. Currently its light reaches a 35 miles distance and flashes every 30 seconds.
Converted into a symbol of Calella, it can be visited on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 to 14:00 hours.
