Josep M. Codina i Bagué Municipal Museum (c. Escoles Pies, 36)

Opening times: Tuesday to Saturday from 18:00 to 21:00 h. Sundays and public holidays from 11:00 to 14:00 h.

Prices: normal visit 2€. Reduced visit 1€. Free admission on the first Sunday of the month.

 

Tourism Museum (c. Sant Pere, 122-140)

Temporary exhibition ‘Enemic in sight! The defence of the Maresme coast (1936-1939)’. In Catalan.

Opening hours: Tuesday to Saturday from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Sundays and public holidays from 11:00 to 14:00 h and from 17:00 to 21:00 h.

Prices: normal visit 2€. Reduced visit 1€. Free admission on the first Sunday of the month.

 

Dalmau Park Air Raid Shelter (swings area)

Opening hours: Tuesday to Sunday and public holidays from 10.00 to 14.00 h. Price: normal visit 1 €, reduced visit 0,5 €.

 

Calella Lighthouse Interpretation Centre (Carretera Nacional II, km. 666)

Opening hours: Tuesday to Sunday and public holidays from 17.00 to 21.00 h. Price: normal visit 2 €, reduced 1 €. Admission is free on the first Sunday of the month.

 

Exhibition Hall of the Old Town Hall (Town Hall sq., 1-3)

From 3rd August exhibition ‘L’esperit del mar’, by Juan Varea.

Opening hours: Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 14:00 h. From Tuesday to Friday from 18:00 to 21:00 h.Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 11:00 to 14:00 h.Free admission.Chapel of Sant Quirze and Santa Julita (c. 20.00 h, Riera Capaspre: Parade of the groups of the International Folklore Festival. Itinerary: Riera Capaspre, Jovara, San Juan, calle Iglesia, Batlle, Jovara, Escuelas Pías ending at the town hall square (Plaza del Ayuntamiento)

21.00h at the town hall square (Plaza del Ayuntamiento): Inaugural Show of the International folklore festival “30 years in Calella”. In case of rain, the event will take place in the beach marquee.

11.30 p.m., in the beach marquee: the International Folklore Festival of Cultures.

 

SATURDAY, 7th SEPTEMBER

09.00 to 20.00 h, in the Tomàs Claramunt sport complex: Football Brava tournament.

11.00 to 12.30 h, plaça de l’església (Parish church square): dances by the groups participating in the International Folklore Festival.

11.00 h, Parade of the groups participating in the International Folklore Festival. Itinerary: c/ Riera – pl. Ayuntamiento – c/ Obispo Sivilla – pl. Iglesia. The dancing in the square will be at 11.30 h. In case of rain the dancing will take place in the Sala Mozart.

20.00 h, in the public library: Trio Hawa ensemble-Cycle of Chamber Music. Tickets can be purchased online at www.entrapolis.com and at the Sala Mozart box office every Thursday from 18.00 to 20.00 hours. Cost: 15€.
