SUNDAY, 1ST DECEMBER
From December 1st to 30th, there will be a family friendly event called “Tions de Calella” celebrating the Catalan tradition of “Caga Tió”, a magic log filled with presents for the children. The “Tions” will be in Plaça Espanya, Carrer Puig de Popa, Plaça de Catalunya, and Parc dels Eucaliptus.

19.00 h, at the Town Hall, there wil be the inauguration of the Playmobil’s Nativity scene, until 6th January.
22.00 h, at Restaurant Can Tivill (Riera, 48): there will be a jazz concert by Cat Klezmer Trio “25th Jazz Nadal Calella 2024”. Free admission.

Transport service: Departure from the Tourist Office bus stop (N-II) at 11.30 h, returning at 13.45 h.
17.00 h, at the Town Hall Square: Charity Christmas event.
17.30 h, at Sala Mozart: “The Nutcracker: The Magic of Christmas”, a dance performance of the Christmas tale in Catalan. Charity event: 10 €. Tickets can be purchased online at www.entrapolis.com or at the box office 1 hour before the performance begins, subject to availability.
18.00 h, leaving from the Market Square: parade of the Geganters (giants) of Calella. The route will pass through Carrer Sant Joan, Carrer Església, and end at the Town Hall Square.

19.00 h, Casal de l’Amistat (Amadeu, 55): inauguration of the 34th exhibition of nativity scenes and dioramas up until January 6th. Opening hours: weekdays from 18.00 to 20.00 h., public holidays from 18.30 to 21.00 hores, closed on Christmas and New Year’s Day.

17.00 h, plaça del Bunyol: Santa Claus, with chocolate and inflatable for the little ones.

Celebration of New Year with the Bells in Calella:
11.45 am, in the Town Hall square, Children’s New Year’s Eve: celebrate the bells with the whole family and the show “Els germans cartoon”.
23.00 – 03.00 h, in the Town Hall Square, music with DJ Stuntman leading up to the bells at 00:00h, followed by a New Year’s Eve dance with the group LaBandaBiruji. Bar service available.
